This website was created by blues and boogie-woogie pianist Christian Ries to help blues and jazz bands from Luxembourg and the Greater Region find venues for their live performances. Festivals have been added in July 2025.

Banned venues
Venues that have improperly treated artists or failed to honor agreements have been banned from this site to protect other artists from potential exploitation.

As from 2025, this website is hosted on a managed server in Frankfurt, Germany, Europe.
The website was developed using open-source web resources. It employs the WordPress content management system, combined with the Gridalicious theme. Several WordPress functions written in PHP 8.3 are used to retrieve data from a dedicated database table containing information about the venues. These functions assemble a KML file, which is then displayed as a map via the OSM plugin. The background maps are sourced from OpenStreetMap.
The map markers are lightweight SVG files (0.3 KB) that I created in July 2025:
General data protection regulation
This website stores publicly accessible information about venues in a MySQL database, including the name, address, type and size of the venue, stage presence, longitude, latitude, and, if available, the homepage and Facebook page.
No personal information about individuals is stored on this site.
