Founded in 2020 during the peak of the pandemic, BMAD aka Boogie Music Against Depression began as a duo with a mission: to embrace joy and combat the shadows of depression through the power of music. By 2023, our passion and energy led us to expand into a dynamic trio, featuring the raw and emotive voice of Christian Ries on piano and vocals, the soulful strumming of Paulo Simões on guitar, and the rhythmic mastery of Rob Schauls on drums.
BMAD captivates audiences with an infectious fusion of boogie-woogie, blues, and timeless jazz classics, enriched by our original compositions.
