Kid Colling Cartel is a Luxembourgian blues and rock band founded in 2012. The band is named after its leader Stephan “Kid” Colling, Cartel from his Columbian origins. The band plays modern blues-rock, mostly groovy, funky and rocky compositions by Kid Colling without ever forgetting the Blues.
In 2014 Kid Colling Cartel received the SoBlues Price from Europajazz at the festival “Les Rendez-vous de l’Erdre” in Nantes (F) (28-31 August 2014). On 6 August 2016 the Cartel won the « 1er tremplin Bagnols Blues Festival » at Bagnols-sur-Cèze (F). 2016 the Cartel won the national blues contest organised by the Luxembourg Blues Club and it represented Luxembourg at the European Blues Challenge at Horsens in Danmark in 2017.
