Dan’ Cha’ & the b.a.d. Slang is a Belgian blues, soul, and rock band that was established in 2024. The band has strong ties to Luxembourg, as one of its members, bass player Stephan Klinkenberg, teaches in Luxembourg.
DAN’ CHA’ Belgian guitarist & singer-songwriter just released his new blues and rock oriented band in early 2024. After more than 20 years of experience as a live and studio musician, he now primarily writes and interprets his own songs, which are characterised by blues, soul and rock music. The melodies and lyrics of his songs are characterised by simplicity and are intended to be catchy and memorable. Despite the well-kept compositional simplicity, DAN’ CHA’ attaches great importance to melodic, rhythmic and harmonic diversity. His serious lyrics thematise everyday topics as well as social and societal grievances. The homage to icons of the “blues” such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and B.B. King are not to be missed in his repertoire. His fellow Band “the b.a.d. SLANG” pushes his music to an higher level.
